Jeana S. Butler

Visitation for Jeana Sue (Wulff) Butler, 60, of Inverness IL, will be on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL. The Interment will be private.

Jeana passed away March 6, 2026, at JourneyCare Hospice Barrington after a long and hard-fought battle with heart failure. She passed peacefully with her beloved husband Mike and children Nick (Heather), Jenny (Cody), and Tommy by her side.

She is also survived by her brother, Anthony. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Gerald.

Born in Oak Park in 1965 and raised in Rolling Meadows, Jeana graduated from Rolling Meadows High School in 1983. She took cosmetology courses and was a stylist and later a beauty school teacher at Arlington Academy.

Jeana was most proud of being a stay at home mom and raising 3 children of whom she adored. She loved animals, she had 5 collies and numerous cats over the years. Her love of animals extended into being the foster coordinator and providing a foster home for Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois as well as volunteering at Barb’s Precious Cat Rescue. Jeana also enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and spending time at her lakehouse with family and friends.

She will be forever missed by her family and friends.
