Jacqueline was the beloved wife of George Schwartzinger; dear daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (nee Wegler) Reiser; fond sister of Robert (Marie) Reiser and James (Marcy) Reiser; loving aunt of Steve (Rhonda) Reiser, Kris (Obi) Tagbo, Mike (Kristen) Reiser, Jamie (Scott) Plachinski, Mike (Misty) Amstadt, Bob (Kelly) Amstadt, Sue (Kurt) Hess, Linda (Chip) Muscarello, Laurie (Joe) Palumbo, Debbie (Kevin) Mark, Dave (Sue) Rayas, and Danny (Heidi) Rayas, and cherished great aunt of many loving and devoted great nieces and nephews.

Jackie was born June 4, 1947, in Chicago and passed away peacefully March 10, 2024. She lived with her family in Illinois, Indiana and Grand Haven, Michigan, where she spent her teen years enjoying many summers at the beach and on the pier. After graduating high school, she went on to beauty school where she earned her Beautician’s License. Returning to Chicago, she met and married George. They moved to their home in Lake Zurich where they enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening. She and George loved to travel and vacationed throughout the United States and Europe. Jackie enjoyed her nieces and nephews during many weekend sleepovers, trips to Santa’s Village, Great America, softball and volleyball games. Coloring Easter eggs every year was a tradition and “Hanging out” with them was always a blast. Her hobbies included ceramics, stained glass, paper greeting cards, rock painting, fishing, jewelry collecting, and playing weekly bingo with Mom. Arts and crafts with Mom and her sisters-in-law were the times she never forgot and always talked about them with the rest of the family.

While enjoying life, Jackie worked for large companies including Digital, Kemper Insurance, Mars Candy, Certified Marking Products, Good Shephard Hospital and Stevenson High School. She held many different administrative assistant positions at these institutions. However, earning her bus driving CDL was one of her favorite accomplishments, as she prepared the bus and driver schedules for the Community Consolidated School District #15 on a yearly basis.

She leaves behind a legacy of her fun-loving spirit, generosity, and fondness of family. Jackie will be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
