A Celebration Of Life for Jack E. Bruns, 77, of Carpentersville since 1996, will be held, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. The Inurnment will be private.
Jack was born March 30, 1948, in Elgin, and passed December 11, 2025, in Elgin.
Jack was the beloved husband of the late Patsy Ann “Pat” Bruns (2023); dear son of the late Elmer and Wanda (nee Brzostowski) Bruns; fond brother of Jeannette (Olaf Stanzer) Lapenna and Pamela Bumgardner.
Jack was an over the road truck driver, an avid collector; and after retirement managed the White House in Palatine.
