Harold B. Martin Jr.

A private Graveside Service for Harold B. Martin Jr., age 78, will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Transfiguration Catholic Cemetery, Wauconda, IL.

He was born on February 4, 1943 in Muskegon, MI to the late Harold B. and Florence Martin (nee Chellis), and passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 in Jacksonville, FL.

Harold attended Muskegon High School. He was Vice President of Sales for 30+ years for Glory Inc. of Japan. He moved to Florida late in life to pursue a career in real estate, and then volunteered for K9s for Warriors due to his love for animals.

He is survived by wife Sheila of Jacksonville, FL; sons Charles (Sherri) of Kalamazoo, MI and Casey (Marie) of Chicago, IL; 2 grandsons, Andrew and Danny of Kalamazoo; step-children Lory (Carl) Vizza of Yorkville, IL; Cory L. (Jennifer) Winters of Rochester, NY; Monica (Mike) Agate of Orlando, FL and Stephanie (Joe) Barrera of Alisa Viejo, CA; numerous step-grandchildren and his devoted dog Barley. He is also survived by his sister Betty (Art) Vandeven Henry of Niceville, FL; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, son Harold (Butch) Martin III, twin sister Carol (Jim) Jaunese, sister Shirley (Wally) Bouchard Durka, and sister Donna Rogers (Don) VanMunster.
