Gloria L. Raley

Visitation for Gloria L. Raley, 97, of Arlington Heights, will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 9:00a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. On Saturday, February 26, 2022 Gloria L. Raley, Loving Mother of 4, grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 12, passed away peacefully at the age of 97. Gloria was born on August 22, 1924 in Lemont, IL to George and Edith Lundberg.

On June 6, 1953, she married Walter Raley and they raised 4 children, Cheryl (Mike) Hierl, Bob (Debbie) Raley, Tom (Betsy) Raley and Karen (Jon) Steffens. Gloria and Walter were married for 42 years before Walter’s passing in 1995.

Gloria was most passionate about her family and spending as much time with them as she could. She loved dogs, was an avid reader, card player and Chicago Blackhawks fan. She was warm and loving and very quick witted. We will miss her dearly.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Walter, parents George and Edith; brother George Lundberg Jr. and brother Wilburt “Bud” Lundberg.

Gloria is survived by her 4 children; grandchildren, Melissa, Michelle, Michael, Benjamin, Lauren, Matthew, Patrick, Christine, Colin, Jessica and Joey; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mia, Caitlin, Mason, Caleb, Ty, Reid, Dalton, Reagan, Eric, Jane and Adrian.
