Gladys G. Jimenez

Funeral Services for Gladys G. Jimenez (nee Jensen), 89, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Rolling Meadows, will be private.  The Interment will be held in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

Gladys was born March 3, 1931 in Chicago, and passed away peacefully August 13, 2020 in Arlington Heights.

Gladys was the beloved wife of the late William H. Jimenez; loving mother of the late Lawrence (Jan) Jimenez, Robert (Tamra Stallings) Jimenez, Cheryl (Randy) Haack, and  Jennifer (William) Buesing ; loving grandmother of the late Lauren Russo, Dave (Sarah) Buesing, Corrie (Neal) Mitchell, Carolyn (Michael) Sykes, Marissa Jimenez, Dan Haack, Matt (Bridget) Buesing, Isaac Jimenez, and Philip Buesing; adoring great-grandmother of Adam Russo, Parker Buesing, and Benjamin Buesing; dear daughter of the late George and Violet (nee Eckhart) Jensen; and fond sister of the late Virginia Eckert.

She was a faithful member of Meadows Christian Fellowship in Rolling Meadows and loved Jesus.  Gladys enjoyed working and volunteering at Kimball Hill Elementary School.

The family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by the staff at Church Creek and Staff Providers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
