George was born April 20, 1945, in Sao Paulo Brazil and passed away peacefully May 17, 2025. He came to the United States with his family October 29, 1951. They reunited with his father in the Milwaukee area and finally settled with his Uncle Ignus in Chicago. George went to Richard Yates Elementary School and graduated from Kelvyn Park High School January 31, 1964. After high school George joined the Army where he earned the Sharpshooter Rifle Medal. He was Honorably Discharged September 29th, 1971. George continued his education at Greer Technical Institute (Automotive body repair) and Triton College (HVAC repair). George became a Printer, working for Hall Printing in Chicago and then Brown Printing in Crystal Lake. He met Jackie Reiser, they fell in love and married soon after. They moved to their home in Lake Zurich where they enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening. George received his Certificate of Naturalization on September 5, 2000. George and Jackie liked to travel throughout the United States and visited Las Vegas several times. George and Jackie bought a boat and loved to go fishing, many of us have great memories of fishing with George.
George leaves behind a legacy of love of his country and family. He was always very generous with anyone who needed anything. George will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wounded Warriors or Tunnel to Towers would be appreciated.
