Visitation for George F. Moravec, 90, of Palatine will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service, 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Private entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
George was born on January 1, 1928 in Des Plaines, IL to George and Betty Moravec. He passed away at home on Sunday, May 6, 2018.
His family meant everything to him.
George was the beloved husband of the late Gloria Moravec. He is survived by his children, Linnea (Phillip) Retzer, Ellie Wsol, Nancy (Jesse) Moravec, Georjan (Vito) Servedio, Jean Koter and George Joseph (Kathy) Moravec; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Peters and his brother, Harvey Moravec.
