Gay R. Phillips

Visitation for Gay R. Phillips, 80, of Round Lake Beach, will be on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. The Interment will follow at Windridge Cemetery, Cary.

Gay was born on June 2, 1946, to Peter and Frances Render. She peacefully passed away on July 12, 2026.

Gay’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She treasured being with her grandchildren, from going to dance recitals, sporting events, and numerous activities. Her interests included genealogy and she was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.

Gay was the beloved mother of Ron Phillips and Don Phillips; loving grandmother of Taylor (Jackson Herrmann) Phillips, Troy Phillips and Kyle Phillips; fond sister of David Render and Robin Render.
