Gail M. Barr

The Funeral Services and Interment for Gail M. Barr (nee Czarnowski), 76, of Buffalo Grove will be private.

Gail was born April 20, 1948, in Chicago, IL, and passed away August 18, 2024, in Buffalo Grove.

Gail was the loving mother of Amber Barr, Dean (Katie) Barr, and the late Todd Barr (2020); loving grandmother of Ian, Joshua, and Lorraine; dear daughter of the late Arthur Czarnowski and Dorothy (nee Pawela) Hardy; fond sister of Jerry (Grace) Hardy, James Hardy, and Suzanne Bonner; caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Gail loved traveling and spending time with family. Movie nights, board games, and swimming parties with grandchildren were her favorite pastimes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to ALS Association.
