Francis J. Plunkett

Services and Interment for Francis “Frank” J. Plunkett, 90, of Rolling Meadows, will be held privately.

Frank was born in Chicago, IL on February 18, 1930 and passed away on November 18, 2020 in Arlington Heights, IL.

He practiced his trade as a lithographer, and enjoyed bowling, golf and playing cards. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and was overjoyed to see World Series victory and enjoyed that celebration with his son. He was an Air Force Veteran. He was a man of honor and integrity. Frank was very strong in his Catholic faith and a member of St. Colette Church for over 50 years. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather and loved by many.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Connie; children, Laura (Jay) Landise, Mary Ann (Mike) Weber, Julie (the late Bob) Hendry, Andrew (Amy) Plunkett; daughter in law, Sue Plunkett; grandchildren, Lindsey, David, Kristie, Allison, Max, Erica, Nicole, Blake, Taylor, Trevor, Brooke and Britt and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his children, Linda Nicklas and Frank Plunkett; brother, Robert Plunkett and both his parents.
