Frances V. Johns

Funeral Services for Frances V. (nee Kornaus) Johns, 93, formerly of Palatine, will begin with prayers on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 9:30AM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, proceeding to St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine, for the Funeral Mass at 10:00AM.  The Interment will be private.

Frances was born on November 23, 1922 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Walter and Louise Kornaus and passed away peacefully early on the morning of Thursday, March 31, 2016 at The Lutheran Home for the Aged in Arlington Heights.

Beloved wife of the late William J. Johns; loving mother of Lois Southard; cherished grandmother of Scott Southard and Marybeth (Jason) Moore; also surviving are many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her siblings Philip  and Raymond Kornaus and Florence Lessman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Frances, would be appreciated for the American Cancer Society, 100 Tri State International, Lincolnshire, IL 60069.
