He was a member of the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce, owned Mexico Lindo Restaurant in Lake Zurich and loved to garden.

Ezequiel was the loving father of Barbara (Juan) Gardea, Bertha (Miguel) Villagomez, Zeke Torres, Cynthia Torres, Maria (Daniel) Guerra and Jesse (Jamie) Torres; grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 9; brother of Mary (Ruben) Gonzalez and Ezzie (Jorge) Cantu.
