Esther H. Schneider

Visitation for Esther H. Schneider, 92, of McHenry, formerly of Palatine, will be held from 12:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine. The Interment will follow at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago.

Esther was a 40-year employee of District 15. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. She also enjoyed playing cards with friends and attending plays at the Marriott Lincolnshire.

Esther is survived by her children, James (Laurie) Schneider, and Denise (Glenn) Schneider-Kaufman; grandchildren, Erin and Hayley Schneider, Hillary (Joe) Boruta, and Kendall Kaufman; and great-grandchild, Donavon Boruta.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hillard Schneider; her parents, Eleanor and Robert Lussow; and siblings, Helen, Eleanor, Ed, and Robert.
