Ernest J. Mueller

Visitation for Ernest John Mueller, 86, of Palatine, will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Interment will take place at Ridgewood Cemetery in DesPlaines, IL.

Ernest was born on May 13, 1934 in Chicago and passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Palatine.  Ernest was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Korea for 14 months.  He also enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include his brother, Bernie (Carolyn) Mueller, his sister, Ingrid (Ron) Murphy and many nieces and nephews.  Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Gertrude (nee Lindquist).
