Dr. Eleanor Pick

A Time of Remembrance for Dr. Eleanor Pick, 92, of Barrington Hills, will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.

Eleanor died peacefully in her home on September 4, 2017.  Eleanor devoted her career to the children in the Chicago Public Schools, serving as teacher, principal and deputy superintendent.  She received her doctorate degree from Harvard University.

Eleanor loved her pets and loved to travel.  She is survived by her cousins, Virginia Hasbach and Dolores Haley and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Her family celebrated many holidays around Eleanor’s table.  She was lovingly cared for the last few years by Carmen Walling and Pam Lindsey.
