Dolores S. Wendell

Visitation for Dolores S. Wendell (nee Wozniak), 87, of Barrington, will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington.  The Interment will be private.

Dolores was born on July 3, 1935, in Chicago and passed away, surrounded by her family on December 2, 2022, at her home in Barrington.

Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Marion; loving mother of Maria (Brian Cheeseman); adored grandmother of Rebecca, Peyton, Samantha, and Aidan; dear daughter of the late Alexander Wozniak and Lottie (nee Zalewski); sister to the late Lorraine Wojcieszek, Merilyn Grochecki and Michael Wozniak; an aunt, and dear friend, to many.

She was a retired supervisor at the 18th District of the Chicago Police Department.
