Visitation for Diane M. Smith, 72, of Hoffman Estates, will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 10:00 am also at the Funeral Home, Palatine. The Interment will be held privately at a later date.
She was born on June 17, 1950, in Chicago, IL.
She was the devoted wife to John Smith for over 55yrs. (married on 9/23/1967); loving mother to John (Pam), Judy (deceased) (Gary), Teri & Patti (Chris); grandmother to (John) Johnny, Josiah & Grace. (Judy) Joe, Ryan & Tommy. (Teri) Alex & Sammy. (Patti) CJ & Zak; great grandmother to (Judy) Dylan, Jessica & Nathan. (Teri) Aiden, Rylee, Kayleigh; sister of Ed (deceased) & Chuck Tremaine; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed.
