Diane L. Winters

Service and Interment for Diane L. Winters (nee Moberg), age 70, of Palatine will be private.

Diane is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe, of 47 years and her parents, Katherine (nee Holbach) and Roy.

Diane is survived by her children, Jeff (Michelle), Jill (Larry Hageman); loving grandmother to Ryan and Emma. Dear sibling to Kay, Roy, Donna, Linda, Robert and Bill. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Diane was an executive secretary for CCSD15 for 28 years.  Diane was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Quilting Club and Spirited Women.  She volunteered at Pads for many years. Diane loved to quilt, golf, tend to her garden and cheer on her Chicago Cubs.

Diane was devoted to her family and friends whom she loved dearly; the sentiment was very much the same for Diane.  She was taken from us too soon and will be missed very much.  We find comfort in knowing she is with her husband once again.
