David M. Vrba

Funeral Services for David M. Vrba Sr., 62, of North Aurora, formerly of Mundelein, IL will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road,  Lake Zurich. Burial will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville.

David was born November 13, 1958 in Chicago, IL and he passed away on July 23, 2021 in Aurora, IL

David grew up in Lake Zurich and graduated from Lake Zurich High School before moving to the Mundelein area. He was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed building and home improvement projects.

David was the loving father of Amanda (Darren) Monico, David (Elisa Rocha) Vrba Jr., Danielle Vrba, and Christine Vrba; loving grandfather of Mason and Madison Monico, and Greyson Beyer; fond brother of Christine (Adam) DePrez, Sharon (Jerome) Juneau, Charlotte (Henry) Wright, Carl (Theresa) Vrba, and Martin Vrba; brother-in-law John Birdoes and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his wife Dana Vrba, parents; Thomas and Elizabeth (nee Ward) Vrba and sister Theresa Birdoes.
