David J. Keafer

Visitation for David J. Keafer, 48, of Elgin, formerly of Chicago, will be from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. Family and Friends will meet directly at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine, IL. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

David was born on October 6, 1975 to the late Donald and Kim Keafer. He passed away on November 29, 2023.

David was a graduate of Gordon Tech High School, Chicago. He was also a long time employee of William F. Meyer Company. He was a good friend to many who was known for making everyone around him laugh; he will be deeply missed.

David is the dear brother of Michelle (Michael) Jahnke; loving uncle of Madeline, Matthew, Melanie, and Michael; and fond lifelong friend to Philip Golz and David Ashcraft. He is also survived by numerous aunt, uncles, cousins and friends.
