David J. Jewett

Visitation for David J. Jewett, 66, of Dwight, IL, will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. The Interment will be private at Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.

David was born on January 21, 1959 to Robert and Helen Jewett. He passed away on April 24, 2025.

David lived most recently at William Fox Developmental Center in Dwight, Illinois where he charmed all the staff there. He was a fan of Lawrence Welk and the Beatles.

David is survived by his sister Christine Childers, niece and nephews, Brenda Obil Quiala, Michael Childers, and Robert Childers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jewett and Helen Carrico, and his brother Robert Jewett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Uplifted Care, the hospice organization that provided compassionate support to him in his final year.
