Daniel C. O'Malley

Services and interment for Daniel C. O’Malley, 66, of Wheeling, formerly of Palatine, will be held privately.

Daniel C. O’Malley was born August 27^th, 1957, in Springfield, IL to James and Jeanne (nee Comerford) O’Malley. He passed away Monday, November 27^th, 2023. He worked in computer engineering and disaster recovery for over 20 years. He enjoyed golfing and fishing with friends. He was a very passionate and funny man who took great joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren. He touched the lives of many in different ways and will be missed.

Daniel is survived by his sons Daniel J. (Elise) O’Malley, Michael O’Malley; grandchildren Emma, Jackson, James; Sisters Kathleen A. Dowding, Megan M. O’Malley, Patricia J. (Al) Stoiber. Daniel is also survived by his former wife Susan O’Malley.

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Jeanne O’Malley; and son Matthew J. O’Malley.

In Lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
