Visitation for Clarke Kenneth Randall, 76, of Palatine, will be on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. Family and friends will meet directly at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine on Thursday, March 26, 2026, where visitation will continue from 10:00 AM until the Funeral at 11:00 AM. The Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Clarke was born on February 11, 1950, to Kenneth and Grace Randall. He passed away on March 20, 2026.
Clarke was the beloved husband of Debra Randall; devoted father of Kathryn Schach, Mark Randall, Elizabeth Randall, and Jennifer Randall; and a caring stepfather to Kevin Wilgenbusch. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Jonah and Audrey Schach, and Ruby and Rocket Randall, who brought him immense joy. Clarke was the cherished son of the late Grace and Kenneth Randall, and a dear brother to Joan Waterlander (deceased) and Ann Brecheisen.
Clarke will be remembered by his family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers as a devoted family man, a gifted conversationalist, and someone who found true happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He had a natural warmth that drew people in, and he never missed an opportunity to connect—whether through a thoughtful conversation, a shared laugh, or a friendly chat over the fence.
He found peace and purpose outdoors, often tending to his garden, feeding the birds, or enjoying the rhythms of nature. Clarke had a deep appreciation for history and was rarely without a biography or historical nonfiction book close at hand. He took pride in keeping his mind sharp, delighting in crossword puzzles and carefully assembling LEGO models.
A loyal and enthusiastic Michigan State fan, Clarke faithfully followed each season, celebrating victories and enduring defeats with equal passion. Above all, he understood what mattered most. He lived his life grounded in love for his family, commitment to his community, and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. Clarke made sure those he loved always knew how much they meant to him, and his legacy of love, curiosity, and kindness will live on in all who knew him.
