Christine L. Sonnen

Services and Interment for Christine L. Sonnen (nee Long), 72, of Kildeer, will be private.

She was born on August 11, 1950, in Muskegon, Michigan, and passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, in Arlington Heights.

For over 30 years Christine worked in the information technology sector for companies such as Kemper Insurance, Allstate Insurance, Sears, and The Michael Erikson Company. She spent the last 15 years as a life coach working with her clients to improve their physical and emotional health.

Christine was the loving wife of David B.; mother of the late Bryan J.; sister of Patricia Cook (nee Long), Melissa Paladino (nee Long), and David R. Long; aunt of Alexandria Paladino, Nicole Briarton (nee Paladino), Robert Paladino, Lindsay Groenwald (nee Cook), Robin Cohen (nee Long), and Ryan Long; and the loving great aunt of 16 nieces and nephews.

Christine’s love and devotion extended to her role as a sister-in-law to Denise Long (nee Darnall), Michael Cook, and Robert Paladino, forming strong and meaningful connections. Her ability to welcome and embrace her extended family created an atmosphere of unity and togetherness that will be remembered fondly by all.

As a dedicated wife, Christine shared a deep and enduring bond with her husband Dave. Their love was a testament to the power of companionship and unity, and their journey together was marked by love, laughter, and shared experiences.

Christine’s legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a trail of beautiful memories, reminding us to cherish our loved ones and live life with the same passion and kindness that she did.

Christine Sonnen will forever remain alive in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love that will continue to flow through our lives. May she rest in eternal peace.
