Carol L. Schwantz

A Memorial Visitation for Carol L. Schwantz, 78, of Palatine, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 9:00 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:30 am at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. The Interment will be private.

Carol was born in Arlington Heights, IL on May 7, 1944 to Arthur and Gladys Jaquet.  She passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

Carol was a caring, loving and generous mother of 4 and mom to many more. Avid baseball and football fan.  She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Palatine since 1983.

Carol was the beloved wife of William Schwantz for 53 years; loving mother of James (Brenda) Schwantz, Michael Schwantz , Timothy Schwantz , and Robert (Michelle) Schwantz; and dear grandmother of Ashlynne (Joe) Weber, Austin (fiancée, Mattie Gearhart), Madalyn, Evelyn, and Leo.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Jaquet.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Lung Association.
