Visitation for Burton H. Kaminsky, 76, of Palatine for 55 years, will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, September 5, 2013 with a Funeral Service being held at 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. There will also be a visitation on Friday from 9:00am until 10:00am at the funeral home, proceeding to Oakridge Cemetery in Hillside.
Burton was born on September 4, 1936 and passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013.
He was a Wheeling Police Officer for 29 years.
Burton was the loving husband of 25 years to Sherry; father of Joanne (Frank) Halas, Mike (Barb), Kathy (Joe) Bartusiak, Noreen (Tony) Raupp, Gary (Tracie), Steve (Julie), Chris, Dave, Debbie and the late Phillip and step daughter Kelli (Lou) Karrigian; grandfather of 18; great grandfather of 1; son of the late Herb & Adela Kaminsky.
