Brian P. Schneider

Visitation for Brian P. Schneider, 44, of Hoffman Estates, will be held from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Family and Friends will meet directly at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela Street, Barrington, IL, on Saturday, December 11, 2021, for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  The Interment will be private.

Brian was born on August 2, 1977 in Lake Forest, IL.  He passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Brian was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle and friend. He was sweet, thoughtful, kind, and loving. He was always there to help others in any capacity. Additionally, he was an enthusiastic Scoutmaster, brewmaster, and a dedicated employee who was respected by his co-workers.  Brian always had a positive attitude and zest for life, even while he was cheering on the Bears and Cubs. He touched the lives of many people near and far with his quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor.

Brian is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Schneider; children, Patrick James and Erin Elizabeth Schneider, his parents, John and Sharon (nee Kenney) Schneider; his brothers, Michael John (Stephanie) and Timothy Ryan Schneider; nephews, Andrew and Matthew Schneider; his uncles, David, Donald and William Schneider; his aunts, Dorothy Kenney and Margaret Fraher; and his, Mother-in-law, Catherine Oswald.  He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Sheri Oswald, brothers-in-law, Scott Oswald and Brad (Erica) Oswald, and their children, Abigail and Caleb.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Hugo & Vienna H. Schneider, maternal grandparents, LeRoy J. & Helen Kenney, and his Father-in-law, William Oswald.
