Bonnie M. Canning

Memorial Visitation for Bonnie M. Canning (nee Swanson), 77, of Palatine, will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 6:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.

Bonnie was born September 29, 1938 in Chicago and she passed away November 19, 2015 in Arlington Heights.

Bon-the hostess with the mostest.  Bonnie always made sure that everyone was having a good time and that they had enough to eat…no matter the occasion (even when she was in the hospital!)  Bon hosted 30+ Thanksgivings, and everyone was welcome.  This Thanksgiving we are all very thankful to have known and loved Bonnie.

Beloved wife of the late Matthew A. Canning; loving mom of Tim Canning and Kelly (Jeff) Wilcox; loving grammie of Matt and Ryan Canning and Trey, Anna and Robbie Wilcox; dear daughter of the late Eskil and Lila (nee Anderson) Swanson; fond sister of the late Timothy Swanson.
