Barbara J. Stout

Services for Barbara Jean Stout, 87, of Melrose Park, IL, will be private.

Barbara passed under hospice care, in her sleep on February 22, 2021, at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, IL.

She was the only child of parents Phyllis and Louis Kominsky.  Barbara was married to her husband, the late Jack Roland Stout of nearly 60 years, who passed in 2014. She is survived by her loving children, Michael (Elizabeth) Stout, Kathleen (Richard) Stanislawski, Glenn (Cheryl) Stout and Keith (Heather) Stout; grandmother to 12 cherished grandchildren; Eric, Christopher, Jaxon, Elise, Ryder, Stephanie, Rylee, Annie, Madelynn, Robert, Megan & Allison. She is also survived by her sister in law, Jeanne Hoida.

Barbara has always been an active volunteer in various organizations, from PTA when her children were younger, to being part of the Welcome Wagon within her assisted living facility.  She died from natural causes.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in memory of Barbara, to be donated to Research for Macular Degeneration or the Alzheimer’s Association.
