Barbara J. Deery

Barbara J. Deery, of Lake Zurich, IL, 78, born in Sioux City, Iowa, with a BA from Morningside College, passed away on May 28, 2015 with family members by her side.  A Memorial Visitation for will be held Saturday June 6, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service, 1:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.

Beloved wife of the late Charles; loving mother of Douglas Deery, of Lake Zurich, IL, and David Deery, of Allen, TX; generous mother-in-law to Stephanie Deery and Ann Deery; dear grandmother to Erica and Mitchell, as well as Andrew, Matthew, Timothy, and Nicholas; and neighbor and close friend to many.

She enjoyed 50 wonderful years of marriage, traveling, cruising, quilting and spending time at her cabin on Leach Lake in Northern Minnesota.
