Alice L. Prom

Visitation for Alice Louise Prom, 91, of Palatine, will be from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday. August 21, 2025, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine. Family and Friends will meet directly at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton Street, Palatine on Friday, August 22, 2025, for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. The Interment will follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery, Niles.

Alice is the loving aunt of Barbara (Steve) Szumacher, Gerald Lewandowski, Ronald
(Maragret) Lewandowski, Joseph Lewandowski, William (Lois) Lewandowski, Jacquelyn
LaRosa, Irene Somberg; companion, Steve Kominoski; great aunt of 18; and great-
great aunt of 16.

Alice came of age at the Lathrop Homes on the near northwest side of Chicago. She worked for Illinois Bell/AT&T her entire career. Alice retired at the age of 54 and spent the next 35 years helping others through the Telephone Pioneers and other organizations. Alice was a very kind and generous person. She will be missed by many.
